ThreatWatch Actual is a former US Marine Corps officer of twenty years. He is a designated Joint - qualified Foreign Area Officer specializing in the former Soviet Union and Western Europe. While assigned to the Defense Intelligence Agency, he was detailed to the US Embassy, Kiev, Ukraine and worked as a military attaché in a diplomatic assignment. He was responsible for Foreign Material Acquisition, Military-to-Military Contact programs, and Security Assistance. He was also assigned to NATO Military HQs in Mons Belgium, and US European Command HQs in Stuttgart Germany. He has mulitple assignments and deployements from tactical to-strategic level operations and positions. He is a designated Naval Aviator and former USMC Close Combat Martial Arts Instructor. 

 

Additionally, he was selected as USMC Fellow at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, and Harvard College’s Kennedy School of Government, receiving a Master’s Degree in International Security Affairs. He wrote his thesis on Former Soviet Counter-Terror and Intelligence Support to the Global War on Terrorism. He has lived, worked, and travelled throughout the former Soviet Union and speaks Russian, Ukrainian, and German. He also received a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Purdue University in association with the German International School of Management and Administration in Hanover, GE.

He spends time with his family, and is currently writing his first book.
